Just for a change of pace, I did another Nintendo guy - Ness, from Earthbound. A lot of people only know him from Super Smash Bros. 64 and Melee... I had the good fortune of finding the actual Earthbound cartridge at EB Games maybe around 3-4 years ago. I bought it posthaste and played it through... weird, funny, and challenging. A good game. I hope it gets onto Virtual Console, cuz I don't wanna recommend pirating.
Artistically... I wanted to make Ness look a little more like a real kid, not a lump of clay, as he did in the original "artwork", and he's pretty stumpy in SSB(M). I can't pose him all cool-like if he's too stubby to have normal articulation in all his joints...
And I love the effects of his PK powers in Melee. I tried getting some otherworldly lighting going, and had a lot of fun with plain pencil energy scribbling, then applying color and glow. End result... a bit more dramatic than I had planned, but more than satisfactory.

Alas, I have not had the good fortune of playing Chrono Trigger. If Squeenix and Nintendo would smooth things out the rest of the way, it could be on Virtual Console too... Mario playing street basketball is not good enough. They're just dangling an SMRPG remake in our faces!
